Remembrance Day: Lest We Forget

A Remembrance Day service was held at ANZAC Cottage in the Perth suburb of Mount Hawthorn on Sunday. The front lawn of this quaint little cottage was covered in small white crosses. Some were marked to remember individuals lost and remembered while others were blank to remember the many other servicemen and women who have fought in wars for Australia. We contributed three crosses to remember the lives and service of three local men...

For more information on the lives and service of the above three men, have a read of their entries in our Biographical Dictionary of Coorow, Carnamah and Three Springs:

For a fuller list of local men who served in the two world wars, please see our online reproduction of the Carnamah Honour Roll.
